Valentine offering " How Do I Love Thee?"

  For Valentine's Day I am offering this tiny dancer music box.

Balanced on tip toes she balances a umbrella in one hand and glittered mask in the other.

She was created using a soft body sculpt with paper clay sculpted head and feet.

Painted using multiple layers of color washes.

Warm and Natural was used for her costume, with layers of gathered lush pink tulle for her tutu.

Tiny pom poms trim her skirt and her hat with an added gathered pink crepe paper collar.

The box she stands on was covered with warm and natural over a real wood box,

with a crank style music box tucked inside that plays Edleweiss.

Vintage handmade trims and ribbons were used to finish the base.

Gathered pink crepe paper and a dusting of german glitter complete the piece.
